Educational programmes

The Department of Education of the Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen prepares several types of programmes for various target groups. These are animation programmes and programmes and workshops of experiential education through art, guided tours with an instructor, and an accredited programme of further education for elementary and secondary school teachers. The Department of Education also offers schools methodology consultancy for every exhibition as a part of the regular Open Door Days for teachers, which offer free entrance, a guided tour, and a set of information and methodology materials for the ongoing exhibition. Instructors are eager to assist teachers with the methodology and organisation of the programme in the gallery.
